Every buy and every sell of SPORE pays a creator fee into a treasury that cannot be emptied. The treasury sends liquidity into pools across the chain, draws their trading fees back in, and spends everything it earns buying SPORE. A closed loop with a receipt for every step.

Sterile substrate

Where nothing grows

The obvious version of this idea provides liquidity to the biggest graduated Pons coins and lives off their trading fees. That cannot work, and it is not a judgement call — Pons pools pay liquidity providers nothing at all.

Pons attaches a hook to every graduated pool. Its address encodes its permissions in the low 14 bits, and 0xe044 & 0x3FFF = 0x2044 sets AFTER_SWAP_RETURNS_DELTA — the hook takes the entire swap fee for itself after graduation. The pool's own fee tier is set to zero, so nothing is left to accrue to anyone providing liquidity.

feeGrowthGlobal only ever counts upward, for the life of a pool. Reading zero means no liquidity provider has earned a single wei in any Pons pool since the day it opened. Every graduate also carries the same 2.9277×1022 of active liquidity — Pons's own position, and nobody has ever joined it. There was never a reason to.

Four stages, in order, because the money genuinely moves through them in this sequence. Each one is a Pons or Uniswap V4 primitive that already exists on chain.

  1. 01

    Inoculation — SPORE launches at 5%.

    Pons lets a launch nominate a creatorFeeRecipient and a tax of up to 1000 bps. SPORE sets 500 — half the ceiling, because a fee this size suppresses the very volume it feeds on. The curve pays that address on every buy and every sell, automatically, with no invoice and no counterparty. Both values are fixed at launch and can never be changed — including by us.

  2. 02

    The vault — fees land somewhere that cannot be emptied.

    The recipient is a contract with no withdraw function and no owner. The only code path that moves ETH out of it opens a liquidity position or buys SPORE. There is no transaction, signed by anyone, that sends the treasury's balance to a wallet.

  3. 03

    Colonisation — the mycelium reaches into pools that pay.

    Capital goes into fee-charging Uniswap V4 pools, never a Pons-hooked one. Positions, ranges and harvests are all on chain and timestamped, so the book can be checked against the pool rather than against our word for it.

  4. 04

    Sporulation — everything earned buys SPORE.

    Harvested fees are swapped back to ETH and spent buying SPORE on its own curve. The buy is the price impact; the receipt is the point. Every purchase posts to a public spore print with its transaction hash.
